My dream garden... The vegetable garden at
Abundance of la Chatonniere,
where each segment of the leaf is either
vegetables, herbs, or fruit...
Exquisite!
I am blessed with a husband that has a green thumb
( I know I don't). We added on to our small box planter this fall. Part of our inspiration came from my visit to
Box Garden Organics in search of some different more gourmet organic seeds. We went a little crazy, and decided we needed more space.

Here are some of the beauties that we purchased... I am so excited, I hope that they will all do well in our desert climate (they are supposed to). Shopping in Grizz's store was like visiting a candy shop for me :) (photos via box garden organics) |
And here is our plot... Not quite like Abundance of la Chatonniere, but good enough for me! We have some sprouts shooting up already, I can't wait! |
Oh mon ami I'm swooning over your raised gardens ... loving the stone work. September in our corner of the world is about harvesting ...and planting mums in the garden.
ReplyDeleteYour boys are growing up so fast !!! time certainly does fly by. Here the Godchildren and nephews and nieces will be going back to school first week of Sept. hugs, Celia M. (HHL)
NATALIE! BONJOUR!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, when I saw your comment late last night, I was so ecstatic! I'm so happy to see you!
The boys are back in school! I went back a week early this year (and we'll be getting out the last week of MAY!) - I love teaching the high school classes. These adolescents are just gems. And your guys, they look like middle schoolers?
Your garden idea is fabulous. And those lush and colorful veggies are not only healthy but so gorgeous to look at. I love connecting with the earth.
My sweet friend, I always think of you when I see my little gray, lavender-filled pillow that sits on my antique French golden chair.
Bless you!!! Sweet September, Anita
